01 / The index desk
An index futures symbol refers to a contract linked to an underlying index. Start by knowing which basket of companies you are looking at.
Nasdaq-100
An equity-index futures reference associated with the Nasdaq-100. Read its own specifications before comparing a move with another contract.
S&P 500
A futures reference for the S&P 500 index. The chart level, contract multiplier and smallest price increment each describe a different part of the instrument.
Dow Jones Industrial Average
A futures reference associated with the Dow. Sharing the same account does not make different contracts interchangeable.
02 / Learn the unit
A tick is a contract’s minimum price increment. A point is a full unit on its price scale. They are not always the same.
For the exchange-listed E-mini S&P 500 contract, one tick is 0.25 index points. Four ticks make one point.
This is an exchange-specification lesson, not a Mizora profit calculator. Confirm the current specification and order-ticket sizing before trading.

ES / illustrative price movement
Tick count × 0.25 = index-point movement.
03 / Before the opening bell
Check the full symbol and contract information. Futures have contract months; understand which reference the platform is displaying.
Opening times, maintenance windows and holiday sessions can differ. Use the current platform information instead of assuming a market is always open.
Read the order ticket and account risk before you submit. A stop level, position size and account limit need to be considered together.
On Mizora One, all trading capital is simulated. This page introduces the market references; it does not provide exchange membership or promise access to every listed contract. Read the risk disclosure.
